Wayne Dobson is known to all as of us as a ‘living legend’. Shooting to fame and fortune with his hilarious routine played to millions around the world at The Royal Variety Performance in 1989. Then on to his very successful television career with his three season of his TV show A Kind of Magic (1990-1992), watched by over 11 million viewers. Tragically struck down in the prime of his career with Multiple Sclerosis, Wayne has since become one of the prolific inventors of magic tricks for the magic community with his highly successful company DTrik :The Magic of Wayne Dobson. His mantra being “I’ve got MS, but MS has not got me…. Yet!” 20 years ago Wayne retired from public performances. However, after a couple of intimate shows during lock-down, he found out that not only was he well received by lay-audiences, but he also found that he thoroughly enjoyed performing again.
